Between the Walls

Virtual meetings where in-person access is limited (XTW)

Some facilities can't host an in-person panel — distance, staffing, security level, or simply no cleared volunteers nearby. Between the Walls (XTW) closes that gap with virtual NA meetings, delivered over a facility's DTEN monitor or by conference call.

The meeting itself doesn't change: the same 12-Step focus, the same Fellowship-Approved literature, the same trained volunteers on the outside end of the line. XTW exists so that "we couldn't get a volunteer inside" never has to mean "there's no meeting."

When XTW is the answer

Remote facilities far from active NA communities
Facilities awaiting volunteer clearances, so meetings can start now
Institutions where in-person programming is restricted

XTW meetings count toward coverage like any other CW meeting — you'll see them on the Coverage Map alongside in-person panels.
