Hope Rises
A meeting needs volunteers, clearances, and a chapel schedule. A book just needs an address. Hope Rises puts NA literature directly into the hands of incarcerated addicts anywhere in the system: an inmate writes a letter requesting literature, and the books ship free of charge directly from the distributor.
What can be requested
- The Basic Text — Narcotics Anonymous
- Other book-length Fellowship-Approved materials
- English and Spanish editions, where available
For an addict in a facility with no meeting — a Category 3 facility — a Basic Text is often their first contact with NA. That's why literature distribution isn't a side project; it's frontline H&I work.
Funded by the fellowship: ECCNA 2025's literature drive raised over
$50,000, and more than 100 packages went out to Florida
institutions in the largest distribution to date.
